(More customer reviews)It's not perfect. It takes a little longer than pulling the drain plug, but reduces the likelihood of creating a mess by a considerable amount. It's as close to the perfect home oil change as I've experienced in 50+ years of working on cars. Easy to set up and clean. A big ziplock is handy for the hose, and a small one to avoid losing the gaskets, etc. Of course, you still have the filter to deal with.
