These crayons are made out of wax and they smell natural. Very high quality. Since I did art from small age, I can really appreciate them. Colors are so beautiful--very vibrant. I would highly recommend this product. These will last for some time, so price is not that high for quality product.

WordWorld WordFriends Magnetic Plush Bee Review

WordWorld WordFriends Magnetic Plush Bee
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My 8 month old daughter loves this show! She claps and dances to the music and is just fascinated with it. We are collecting all of the characters right now for her - she loves to pull them apart and then stick them back together. They are great learning tools ... we use them to point out letters, the sounds they make, the sounds they make when they come together and then the word itself! A great association tool. And they can take quite the beating from an 8 month old!
The one thing I will add is that I bought this toy at Target for @ $10 ... so I don't know why this retailer is charging so much for it.

Arkham Horror Review

Arkham Horror
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this game when it came out. Since then, i have purchased the Black Pharaoh and Dunwich expansions, and we (a group of 5 of us) easily say this is one of our favorite board games ever. The game assumes that you already know something about Lovecraft and the Cthulu Mythos, although if you don't, it does not mean you can't enjoy the game. It just means you might not really understand why a Hound of Tindalos drives you so insane, or what exactly an Elder Thing is.
The unique aspect of the game is its cooperative play. With 2-8 players (with 4-5 being the sweet spot) you work together to defeat one of many Great Old Ones that are intent on destroying Arkham and possibly the entire world. Each game changes the GOO you fight, and there are multiple investigators to pick from, so you aren't playing the same hero each time either. Add to this mix hundreds of common item cards, unique items, spells, and encounters for dozens of locations, and you have a game with practically unlimited replayability.
The object of the game is to move around the board, either fighting or evading monsters that spawn from gates, while collecting clues and having encounters. You can try to seal the gates and prevent monsters from coming through them, but if you don't act fast enough, the GOO will eventually awaken and it comes down to a final combat that is sometimes impossible to win.
One thing dissenters say about this game is that you have to manage lots of "fiddly" bits. And true, you have a ton of playing pieces to arrange and manage throughout the game: your health, Sanity, clues, cards, skill sliders. But once you get into rhythm of the game it all comes naturally (although it will take around 3-5 games to get used to it).
[...]
Note however, that the game becomes increasingly harder with each expansion you add. As of this writing, The King in Yellow comes out this month, and it is going to add a whole new level of difficulty to an already hard game. But the key to AH is this:
THE FUN IS NOT IN THE WINNING.
It is just in the playing, even if you lose horribly (and you will) it is fun seeing just HOW bad you lose. Sometimes the game seems to be alive and is plotting against your every move.
Ok, that's enough ranting. I can't say enough good things about Arkham Horror. Buy the base game, and then slowly integrate the expansions to keep the options coming. It only gets better.

The town of Arkham, Massachusetts is in a panic. Horrific and bizarre events have begun to occur with increasing frequency -- all seeming to point towards some cataclysmic event in the near future that may spell disaster for everyone. Only one small band of investigators can save Arkham from the Great Old Ones and destruction. This new, updated edition features stunning new artwork and graphical design as well as revised and expanded rules. No fan of the Cthulhu Mythos will want to miss this opportunity to acquire this classic Call of Cthulhu boardgame! The game contains the usual high-quality components used by Fantasy Flight Games. For 1 to 8 players, the game takes 2-3 hours to play.

Guardian Edition Bicycle Poker Playing Cards - 1 Deck Review

Guardian Edition Bicycle Poker Playing Cards - 1 Deck
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This deck of Bicycle playing cards has reached my expectations. The quality is better then the standard bicycle playing cards and these guardians playing cards can be handled better. I think that this deck of playing cards is perfect for amateur magicians because as i said, the cards can be handled very good. Also I enjoy very much the design. The drawing on the back is really impressive. The only thing that I was disappointed about was that there weren't any cards special for magic tricks such as double back cards or stuff like that. Anyway it is worth its money and I recommend it to everyone who knows how to recognize quality.

Tommy 12 (battery operated) w/ 12 darts Review

Tommy 12 (battery operated) w/ 12 darts
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is the younger brother of the Tommy20, similar in all aspects, except that it only holds 12 darts instead of 20. I got this gun after the Tommy20, because you can't ever have too many Nerf type guns.
This is one of those spinner guns, it shoots out the darts by pushing them through two spinning wheels much like how an automatic football or tennis ball thrower works.
Here are my comments on the most important features of a Nerf gun:
1) Power: Quite powerful, more power than your regular spring powered piston pushing Nerf gun and as powerful as some of the hand pumped air pressure Nerf guns.
Grade: Very good.
2) Speed: It can pump out shots quickly and plaster your opponent with bullets before he can hand pump out 2 or 3. This is really a semi-automatic machine gun. Only problem is that you'll run out of bullets in 15 seconds if you fire continuously.
Grade: Excellent.
3) Jamming: Yes it does, but then so does any other Nerf gun. After owning many Nerf guns, I've found the problem with 99% of jamming is bent darts or operator error. I only use the BuzzBee darts without the purple collar under the suction head, they are shorter and won't jam. The ones with the purple collar are slightly longer and cause jamming. And make sure all the darts are straight; bent darts can also cause jamming. The other thing about this particular gun is that you have to squeeze the trigger firmly. If you half heartedly squeeze the trigger the gun can jam, so it's all experience. Once you learn how to operate the trigger, it won't jam on you.
Grade: Rarely.
4) Accuracy: Surprisingly accurate, except when it shoots crooked darts, so just make sure all your darts are straight.
Grade: Very good.
Pros and Cons: The yellow colored Tommy 12 is the "semi-automatic". To shoot, you first have to turn the spinners on with a switch and then manually pull the trigger to shoot. As this is a battery operated gun, you can't really use it in a duck and fire situation as continuously using the battery will run it down quickly. For duck and fire, you'd need a manual gun. This gun is for when your opponent is being pinned down and you run up to him and score like 12 shots on his behind. And because of the noise of the motor you can't use it in any stealth situation either because your opponents will hear you from a mile away. So as any true Nerf warrior knows, you need more than 1 gun at all times. You use this as a machine gun when your opponents are charging you or when you need to spray them with bullets; for those purposes this is truly an excellent gun and a necessary addition to any good arsenal. The only problem with this is that it only holds 12 darts and you can use that up in 15 seconds. The pro about that is that it's much smaller than the Tommy20.
Simple mod: Like with my Tommy20 I have modified the gun by taking that red muzzle off. You can do that by unscrewing 4 screws at the front and just pulling it off, it's not glued. By taking the muzzle off you reduce jamming and you can unjam the gun quickly by simply reaching in the mouth of the gun and pulling the jammed darts out. It doesn't reduce accuracy or range.

Transformers Bumblebee Figure Review

Transformers Bumblebee Figure
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First of all let's just clear something up about all these negative reviews: as for popping off parts, in the instructions it SAYS that parts are made to pop off during transformation so that if YOU the user was forcing it too much, it will pop off (and can be easily popped back on) instead of snapping and breaking off (like if you were to force an older gen Transformers figure). Its a feature to save kids from breaking their brand new favorite Bumblebee people. Try reading the instructions.
Admitedly, yes, several of the new movie Transformers have some of the most insane Transformations I have ever seen in a Transformer. I think its impressive and wowed me. It was a lot more like the way they move about in the films. Gone are the days of flip the calves/feet down, pop out the arms, rotate torso, flip up head DONE. And there is a very good reason for that: creating a FAR SUPERIOR robot mode. The robot modes are so impressive in these new Transformers its insane and this Bumblebee is TOTALLY my favorite. He's extremely close to be the spitting image of his on screen self. Amazing head sculpt with perfect detailing, even his chest plate folds down in the center like its supposed to on film (which its not flipped down all the way in package, just FYI). I love this figure to death. Its one of my favorite Transformers ever, and I've been messing with these things since Bumblebee was just a little Bug with articulated arms and a flip up head that couldn't turn and a hologram logo on his chest/roof. This figure is amazing. Period. The kid in me that loves robots and cars is happy in both modes. The adult in me that can respect sculpting, articulation and engineering is even more wowwed. Don't listen to these haters. If you love Transformers, want the best Bumblebee ever made, and can READ SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS properly, then do not pass up this amazing toy!

When I played this game at an adult gathering for Winter Texans, I thought it would be great for our family to play. Indeed it was. Instead of the markers, tho, we use pennies which makes it more fun for all the adult players. I would recommend it for anyone to play!! You can play with the markers with children involved.

We purchased this set on vacation for our 6 year old son who loves to read and learn about nature. It was a great investment for traveling, waiting in restaurants and whenever he needed some quiet time. The illustrations are beautiful and the two levels of difficulty mean our son and his 4 year old sister can enjoy playing with parents who are frequently stumped! We are all learning - what's better than that? We definitely plan to add some more sets at birthday time.

Dinomorphs Zoomorphs

My three year old girl found this toy in a store, and couldn't put it down. In fact, we visited the store numerous times again just to check out the dinomorphs until I was finally convinced that this was a toy that wouldn't be shoved back into the dark recesses of a closet. They're easy to put together and stay together, unlike the magnetic morphs. There are enough pieces to offer a variety of combinations to keep boredom down! We just introduced my 4 year old nephew to the dinomorphs, and that's all he can talk about! What's great about this toy, is that the manufacturer makes additional series...the running animals, night animals, etc.

CrossCribb Review

CrossCribb
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My husband and I play CrossCribb quite often, especially at our cabin up north. Whenever we played, our two children, now 12 and 10 would beg to play. When they were younger we didn't think that it would interest them. We considered it to be more of an adult game. We were wrong! Our kids love the game, and we found that it helped them in their math skills as well. As a teacher and a parent, I would highly recommend this game for children and adults alike.
I have purchased this game to give as gifts and it is always very well received. It's one of those things that I have bought extras for those "just in case" occasions; when there is a birthday or special event that you don't have time to run out and get something. This is the perfect gift for a wide variety of people and occasions.

Click Here to see more reviews about: CrossCribb

CrossCribb is an exciting strategy game that will thrill cribbage players of all ages. As its name suggests, CrossCribb is an alluring alteration of the traditional game of cribbage. Using conventional cribbage scoring rules, CrossCribb requires players to build five high-scoring cribbage hands while trying to sabotage their opponents' hands. It's a game of strategy, luck, and double-cross. One of the most impressive features about this game is that it can be played by one to six players. It's great for parties, or for simply honing up on your cribbage skills. With a magnificent giant-sized board, you won't be fumbling with little pegs, trying to insert them into little holes any longer. Also included in CrossCribb are rules for exciting variations: CrossCribb 20:20, CrossCribb DoubleTrouble, CrossCribb Solitaire, and CrossPoker. Whether you're an inexperienced cribbage player or new to the game, you'll find CrossCribb an easy game to learn, but difficult to master. Includes instructions, game board, CrossCribb card deck, 2 scoring pads, pencil, and dice.Ages 8 and up.

I bought it for my brother and definitely it is appropriate for children above 4 years old, since it consists of too many tiny parts. Assembling the paths is an engineering work. I am a PhD student and it took me around half an hour to figure out what to connect, where to connect:) By the way, it seems like it is made from cheap plastic and the junctions used for assembly are completely plastic. The junctions are already deformed during assembly, I hope it will last long.
