Transformers: Dark of the Moon - MechTech Leader - Bumblebee Review

(More customer reviews)Dark of the Moon Mech Tech leader Bumblebee is a sweet addition for any transformer fans collection.This bad boy has more firepower than any enemy could handle.Bumblebee's Mech Tech weapon system is one big piece containing two six shot cannon guns on each side with a pulse blaster in the middle with target sighting.The weapon system does light up while making blaster and missle sounds.Bumblebee also has automatic conversion sounds as well.The weapon system fits on the back end of the camaro mode while being on his back in robot mode.The only drawback to having the weapon system on Bumblebee in robot mode is that it makes him back heavy,so you might have to lean him against something solid.The detail on the figure is excellent with the addition of a spoiler in vehicle mode.The transformation level is intermediate meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty.If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some in the process.Honestly Bumblebee looks more difficult than he is to transform.Their are a few tricky parts that will become easier with time.In the beginning on the back behind Bumblebee's head you have to slide the part up which if you go ahead and position the roof part up first it is easier to do.It is three steps to fold up his feet to end up forming the back end of the camaro so make sure that the smaller size grey prong is folded underneath the foot.The other part is folding the arms just right to fit inside the car,just remember that the upper panels on his arms should be facing out,so the torso plate can snap into place underneath.The durability is outstanding to where Bumblebee is very solid for acting out battle scenes in either mode.I would like to have seen Bumblebee with realistic rubber tires,and the cannon/arm combo like on the Battle Ops Bumblebee but this is still an excellent figure overall.The poseability is very good ,but works better for robot mode without the Mech Tech system.There also is a third transformation only shown on the instructions where the arms flip out along the side to give Bumblebee a little more firepower in vehicle mode.The only other thing is between the torso plate underneath and the prongs folded up at the back end creates a little clutter on the underside in camaro mode.This Bumblebee isn't perfect,but is still an excellent figure overall.Bottom line Bumblebee is a high quality,well-made,10 out of 10 figure all fans should enjoy.I highly recommend Dark of the Moon Leader Bumblebee to all transformer fans and collectors alike.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strings were EVERYWHERE from where the stitching wasn't properly sewn to the fabric. The straps across the shoulders CAME OFF when I tried it on my daughter. This thing basically fell apart; it is cheaply made.I am so upset I wasnted my money on this. She won't even be able to play dress up in it when Halloween is over. Piece of junk.

Renegade Water Warrior Review

(More customer reviews)We wanted a water pistol to shoot at the flying rats (pigeons) that kept perching on the telephone pole outside our 5th floor apt. We could NOT find any type of water gun in any of the toy st ores like Toy's R Us etc. We picked this one because it claimed to have a large range - which it did.
This is not a pistol - it is big in size - like an AK-47. It holds lots of water.
It is kept on the window sill - but not full - and if pigeons land we open the window and fire. A con - if it is more than half full it tends to leak a little. Wouldn't be noticeable under normal circumstances, but for our purpose it is. Water was dripping on the window sill and onto the floor. Even half full, there are plenty of rounds of ammo.
Another con - This was so effective that after the first week we have rarely gotten to use it. The flocks of pigeons rarely come back.
The colors of this deadly weapon are great.
If I could have figured out how to post a pic we took of my wife, holding the weapon in her best Sarah Palin pose, firing out the window. We have had it for 2 months.

(More customer reviews)Having purchased this early, I must say I want to like this figure. Considering that because of VW's stubbornness this could not be a Bug but instead a Camaro, it's not bad, although I would have appreciated some typical Bumblebee horns.
In robot mode, it has some stability problems, but I've seen worse. In car mode, it nice. [...] But even afterwards, I still haven't been able to totally transform it back to car as the front of the Camaro won't stay put; it keeps flopping down. Just the initial transformation was worrisome; I kept thinking I am about to break the toy, and now when I want to turn it back to car, it won't go back in position.
If you like Bumblebee, you'll probably want him, but he's more for a collector to have on his shelf than for a kid to actually play with.

People should be ashamed of themselves asking $100 for a $10 dollar item. Hasbro will catch up with demand in the following months and this item will be easily available at Target, TRU and Walmart. The only reason it is so hard to find now is scalpers selling this toy online for ridiculous prices. Do not pay more that $15 for this toy.

Transformers Movie 2 Nest Battle Pack Cannon Bumblebee and Soundwave Review

(More customer reviews)This 2-pack is pretty awesome. Both of them have an awesome robot mode and vehicle mode.
Battlefield Bumblebee is just a repaint of Cannon Bumblebee (which I don't have)just to give you a heads-up. His robot mode is sort of movie accurate, but the bottom chest part does split off from the upper chest a little often (due to it's transformation). Overall, it's impressive.
Battlefield Bumblebee's vehicle mode is really like a Chevy Camaro. One of the transformation steps tell you to put up parts of the lower torso and those look a little like seats! That was a pretty brilliant idea.
Overall, Battlefield Bumblebee is pretty awesome.
Infiltration Soundwave's robot mode is really cool and has a really menacing face sculpt. It also has some flame designs on his chest area and several places glow red when they are held up to a light. That was pretty cool. However, he does have trouble standing. Overall, it's pretty impressive.
Infiltration Soundwave's satellite mode is sort of weird. First of all, it looks nothing like a satellite! They should have named it it's 2nd vehicle mode or something. I like his other vehicle mode better. It isn't that different from it's "satellite" mode; all you basically have to do is move these two wing things to the back.
Overall, Infiltration Soundwave is pretty awesome as well.
If I was to grade these two toys it would be like this:
Battlefield Bumblebee (robot mode): A-
Battlefield Bumblebee (vehicle mode): A+
Battlefield Bumblebee (overall): A
Infiltration Soundwave (robot mode): A
Infiltration Soundwave (satellite mode): A
Infiltration Soundwave (vehicle mode): A
Infiltration Soundwave (overall): A
You have got to buy this if you didn't get Cannon Bumblebee or Soundwave.

There are so many possibilities with this toy. At first we were a little skeptical because it seemed so simple and basic. But that has proved to be a big benefit as our son has had lots of fun being creative and coming up with ways to play. Sometimes he pretends the barn building is a factory and the truck makes deliveries. This toy has been fun in the sandbox, bathtub and family room. There are not too many toys that kids can take from room to room or activity to activity (water, sand, dry play, outside, inside) and still be entertained. I highly recommend this toy to anyone considering a purchase!! In fact we will consider purchasing some of the other Sprig Hollow Toys for his Birthday.

Tetra Strike Blaster with 6 darts Review

(More customer reviews)This is a "Nerf" type gun. You have to pump the rear pump and then pull the trigger. You can shoot all four darts at the same time but you have to control the trigger as it seems like two darts shoot when you pull the trigger half way then the other two darts go when completely pulling back on the trigger.
I had 4 boys between ages 9-13 pull the trigger and they found it difficult to shoot all four at once. I was able to do it but most of the time it only shot 3.
I find the Buzz Bee brand to shoot harder than the Nerf brands and this is still no exception. Look into the Tommy series guns by Buzz Bee if you want a much better (and motorized gun.
