(More customer reviews)This product worked great! I found only one other set of bolt extractors locally but it didn't have the right size die for my bolt. So in all fairness I can't say it would not have worked. I tried stud extractors but they couldn't get a grip on the bolt head. The Heavy-Duty Bolt Extractor Set worked well for my application. The hardest part was getting the extractor far enough down over the head of the bolt for it to get a grip. But that wasn't the fault of the tool. I only had about 4 or five inches of space in which to work.
The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because it didn't have a handy little case or container in which to put the extractors when the job was done. But then, one can't expect the world for $15. These things work well with limited space. Even if the bolt is counter sunk with little space around the outside, a ratchet can be fitted to the end. If there is enough space one can use the right size socket in conjunction with a ratchet and it gives a solid grip. I would recommend this tool to anyone having a rounded off bolt or, as in my case, a stripped out torx or allen head bolt. I would also recommend this to anyone that does their own mechanical work as a nice addition to their tool kit.
Buy yours now before the price goes up or they run out of stock. I got mine
