tough toy. shoots very well with little to no jamming up. It was pretty hard to cock this gun though so it is probably better for your older kiddos. OF NOTE this gun shoots extremely hard so a preemptive "don't shoot anyone in the face" talk is VERY necessary

This toy is far from a blaster unless your child has lungs like super man. The nerf dart basically falls out of the end no matter how hard your kid blows in the pipe. It really is not that much fun at all.

New Excellent Performance 4 CH Yellow Gee Bee Racer Radio Remote Control Electric RC Airplane RTF w/ High Crash Resistance Review

New Excellent Performance 4 CH Yellow Gee Bee Racer Radio Remote Control Electric RC Airplane RTF w/ High Crash Resistance
Average Reviews:

Description says it is 90% assembled...took about an hour to put together. Instructions are very vague and there are parts in the packaging and shown in the photos with no information as to how they are used. Also, came with 3 propellers...they all broke within an hour of trying to use the plane. I don't see any replacement propellers available for sale so needless to say, this will be going back to Amazon. Definitely not worth the price of $130, so buyers beware...don't waste your time or your money!

Lucky Bee Bee Charming Bracelet & Charms (Girl & Guitar) Review

Lucky Bee Bee Charming Bracelet and Charms (Girl and Guitar)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
When these charms were hot for about thirty seconds in the fall (?) of 2009, my daughter did not covet them, although I did. Come to find out, Jakks stopped making them, and that made my heart burn for them even more. I found out that Walgreens carries the last of the this species- hopefully, you are lucky enough to score 'em. I could not find them in Asheville, so I got my mom to hunt them down in Burlington County, NJ; she found different sets in several different Walgreens in her neck of the woods. They are for age 6+. We do own the above set.
The lucky deal: Extremely cute. My younger daughter's set included a burro pinata which actually opens to reveal a small piece of removable candy. Bracelet does not slip off my seven-year-old's incredibly small wrist.
The unlucky deal: Bracelet is a glorified hair rubberband; little metal ring that is attached to the bracelet in order to clip the charms onto it via lobster claw clips seems slightly weak.
(Note: Will update this info in the future if metal ring quickly becomes kaput.)

This is a fun and great product. The size of the applique on the wall commands attention and adds that special touch I was looking for to complete my sons room. It is very easy to peel and stick. Putting up the applique turned into a family event. So it was deffintely worth the cost for a variety of reasons. Would recommend to anyone who likes Transformers and wall appliques.

Small World Toys IQ Baby Busy Bee Baby Buzzer Review

Small World Toys IQ Baby Busy Bee Baby Buzzer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My wife and I bought this toy because it has lights music and a buzzer. At first it is lots of fun for baby. Here's the huge safety concern that we have about it's use for any child. The toy may start acting funny and then you will find that if the toy is put to mouth and chewed on. You are soon to learn that the slobber can get inside the toy and it will short out. Now think of it this way what goes in will come out. If the child sucks on it the slobber could have stuff in it not only from the batteries but all of the internal circuit board solder and who knows what else. This to us is toxic to a child of any age even more so if it is a baby. THIS TOY SHOULD BE RECALLED ASAP FOR THIS RESONE. A Child's health is not worth the risk.
The Nave Family.

I ordered this to go with the bumblebee costume and they matched perfectly and really just made the costume adorable. It was in perfect condition. The only problem I had with this is the shipping is slow slow slow. They didn't even ship until a week and a half later, then another week for them to be delivered. Be sure you order in plenty of time for them to be delivered.

Parents Magazine Bee Bop Band Review

Parents Magazine Bee Bop Band
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love that the instruments are brightly colored and fun. It's also fantastic that they store within the drum itself (with space for other instruments; we use the drum to store all the music toys we can, and there's enough room). The drum can be worn around your little one's neck, and my daughter has worn it as a drum, as a pretend container for snacks when she was pretending to be a vendor at a baseball game, and as a snack bowl with easy access - so it has more potential than you'd expect!
We've had the toy through three years and two children (who play roughly), and other than a few stickers that my daughter has added to the set, they're like new.
When I got this, it also included a coupon for a free year's subscription to Parents magazine. That was a definite positive, and I enjoyed the magazine - not enough to renew it at the end, but enough to read it cover to cover for the year I had it.

This is a very good set, just got it for my 10 month-old. Some things are still new to her like drumsticks, but she loves shaker eggs and tambourine. I am sure she'll grow into other things as well. In one word, by all means get it but look in Target first. I saw some review claiming that in Target this is sold for much cheaper and indeed found it there for 19.99 only. This would also make a great gift, it's packaged so nicely with a gift card already and funny little book with baby sayings. I love it.

Transformers Human Alliance - Bumblebee with Sam Review

Transformers Human Alliance - Bumblebee with Sam
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Bumblebee is arguably the most popular Transformer behind Optimus Prime. Even Megatron (at least these days) doesn't hold a candle. We've seen many different versions of this Autobot so how does this one stand up? **Note: This is NOT the deluxe version of Bumble that sells for less than ten bucks. This is the Human Alliance Bumblebee - an altogether bigger and higher quality toy. **
For Kids:
In either robot or vehicle mode this is a quality toy with lots of detail and fun to play with. The inclusion of the Sam Witwicky action figure is a bonus for kids as well. I'm far from a kid (on the outside) these days but I remember loving the G1 transformers and the little action figure you could put inside - pretending you're that little guy with a big robot pal. The human factor is often forgotten these days. The main downside for kids is that the transformation is hard and like many of these movie transformers there are probably many kids who wouldn't have the patience for it.
For Adults:
Again, this is a bigger more detailed version. The car is top notch and while the interior could have more detail that it has an interior at all is a bonus considering that's a first for this line. This human alliance Bumblebee is almost twice the size of the deluxe version and a lot of that additional detail shows in the clear windows and seats, steering wheel and interior of the car.
In robot mode, words may not be able to describe it (I'll try to have some pics up). There is so much detail in this guy that I'd compare to the new Leader Class Optimus Prime as far as screen accuracy. Let's just say that this is the best representation of movie Bumblebee I've ever seen and I own the huge Ultimate Bumblebee... He's got the most accurate head sculpt and includes the battle mask that no other version I own does! Despite initial misgivings I found that the seats were well hidden in robot mode (they're out there but placed in such a way as to be unobtrusive). The back bumpers become the knee caps and another first (aside from the battle mask) the chest actually has two rotating sections to make the "tilted" look of his "pecks". Even that his right hand is a blaster does not make a big difference as it is so well done (and believe me, I've been upset by that blaster hand in many versions - why not a rotatable hand / weapon?) and looks so good.
His articulation is off the charts too. Tranformers have good articulation and this guy has great! I can't think of a pose I can't get him into (31 points at least). Flip his battle mask up or down, place his missiles where you want, he looks good.
For adult collectors the additional 2.5" Sam figure is not such a great deal. Sure he's there and sure he's pretty well areticulted but you have a giant robot to deal with. It should be said though that the robot has several options to carry the human - in his hand, on his shoulder or in his seat. That may be fun for you or the kids.
Maybe 30 plus dollars seems like a lot but maybe not once you get your hands on him. Transform and roll out with this Bumblebee. He's great and puts past versions to shame. His transformation is challenging but rewarding.

I loved the outfit, it was really cute with exception to the head piece. The antennas were missing the yellow pompoms at the end. So at the last minute I had to run around and find something yellow to cover the ends. Plus it doesn't stand up like the way the pic does, in reality it falls over my baby's eyes so I have to sew it upright.

Transformers Deluxe Movie Collection - Battle Blade Bumblebee Review

Transformers Deluxe Movie Collection - Battle Blade Bumblebee
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I gotta say, at first I was really disappointed in Battle Blade Bumblebee (hereafter BBB). I find the figure on the whole rather "fiddly". That is to say, I think he's much harder to transform than the original movie Deluxe Concept Camaro Bumblebee (hereafter DCCB), which I also own.
The robot back to car transformation of BBB really confused the heck out of me. Hasbro kept the lower-leg automorph transformation from DCCB, but they've changed the upper legs so that you really have to line them up just so to put the rear end of the car back together, and there's a big hollow place under the rear windshield (this is where the cannon was held in car mode on DCCB, but BBB's weapons are built into his arms, so he doesn't have a separate cannon). When I try to push the car doors back in to complete the transformation to car mode, because of the hollow spot, I very frequently end up crumpling the whole rear end in on itself and then I have to line everything back up just so and try again. I haven't broken anything, and the fig's solid enough that I don't think I'll break it, but it's just, as I said before, "fiddly".
I absolutely love DCCB's upper-body transformation. The automorph that swings the doors/wings up as you swing the chest down is so satisfying, it's just _brilliant_. Also, the way the doors/wings end up sitting close together on his back is very screen-accurate, and there's no kibble or backpack. Every car part becomes robot armor somewhere on his body, and the whole upper body ends up being very compact and solid when you finish. The only complaints I've had about the figure are the poor head sculpt and the disproportionally large roof parts as forearm guards.
BBB's upper-body transformation is comparatively rather uninspired. His doors/wings sit very far apart on his back and he has a backpack (made from the whole roof of the car) that barely supports itself on a peg that doesn't really peg in, more like "rests" in. His chest pieces are similarly wobbly. Every time I pick him up I screw up his chest and his backpack. Maybe I just need to learn how/where to grab him, but his whole upper body just doesn't feel nearly as solid as DCCB's.
As far as movie-accuracy, I already mentioned the wings/doors---I think they're all wrong on BBB. But I think just about everywhere else, though, BBB wins. I never had any complaint before, personally, about the look of DCCB's chest, but I have to admit they've done a better job making BBB's chest really pop (as wobbly as it is). And of course he finally has the screen accurate forearm guards. When considering him purely on looks, I can even forgive the backpack, since you most often look at the figure from the front.
So, I guess, to recap, DCCB is the clear winner on a solid, satisfying transformation from car to robot and back, and he's a figure I'll keep and continue to enjoy playing with. When considering looks alone for displaying him on my desk next to ROTF Leader Prime, as dissatisfied as I am with him generally, I think BBB does win out in the end.
One more thing: the packaging for this toy lists it as suitable for ages five and up. I do not personally know any five-year-olds that would be able to figure out how to transform this toy without a _lot_ of adult supervision. This toy was clearly made for older kids and geeky nostalgic adults like myself.

Bumblebee is used to the odds being against him. This time is no different than any of dozens of other fights he's been in. As Ravage and Insecticon circle him in the gloom, he focuses all his energy on being ready for the attack he knows is coming.

Bumble Bee Bunting Infant Costume Review

Bumble Bee Bunting Infant Costume
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Very disappointed with this costume. First, it does not come with those iridescent wings pictured. Mine came with black wings that did not stick out at all so you couldn't even see them. Also, the photo is also misleading because the antennae do not stay up -- there is nothing in them to keep them straight, so they just droop down as if you taped stuffed animals to your kid's forehead. Our baby is 3 months old and the hat part was way to big for her. The "clasp" which consists of a microscopic piece of velcro, was totally pointless as the hat kept falling off. Imagine putting a football helmet on a baseball -- that's how effective the hat was. Lastly, the material is like an unbreathable polyester -- it doesn't make sense why they had to use such cheap fabric. This costume is a huge thumbs down and a giant disappointment.
