(More customer reviews)Disclaimer: I didn't use this for the purpose intended, so bear that in mind. I needed to pull a cam sprocket off a motorcycle crankshaft, and a puller of this type was recommended. It worked perfectly for that task.
At this price, it's obviously Chinese made - but quality and design appears excellent. It has a very wide range of adjustment. The block is not square - it's wider on one side than the other, and all faces are slightly convex allowing even more adjustability. So, the width on top primarily depends on which set of block faces you attach the puller arms to. The thumbscrews for the lower section of the arms, might not even be necessary - they weren't in my case, but they are nice to have.
