(More customer reviews)Before I start, I must warn you these crayons WILL spoil you. If these are your child's first crayons, they may find the rest inferior, but that is nothing to worry about. These last a long time and do not break easily. The rectangular Stockmar crayons are especially good for toddlers and are hard to break. We have had these and the rectangular ones for 4 years now, and they are both a delight for the little ones and adults who color with them. We tried these when our toddler was going through boxes of Crayolas that kept breaking, and we've never looked back. However, when he was 3, someone put out a box of crayola's. As he colored, he brushed away tiny bits of crayon residue, and frowned, "Mommy. Something is wrong with these crayons. They don't work right." I was horrified for an instant that our children were so spoiled, but I realized how much money we've saved by not having to replace crayons over the years. We have only had to replace a couple favorite colors one by one. Now we have the Stockmar Crayons, Lyra colored pencils and graphite pencils. Coloring and writing is luxurious for me. I mean for the children.
